Prevention Research Expert Panel Current Issues:
The NMPN/PREP is currently working on two critical prevention issues:
1. Ethics: We are in the process of investigating, researching and writing a position/recommendation document of
the Ethical considerations and policies relating to accepting financial support directly from the Alcohol Industry
and perhaps include in our position/recommendation paper alcohol policies in the workplace.
2. Direct Services and Environmental Strategies: Prevention Professionals in the field are looking for clarification
of the validity and importance of both. The NMPN/PREP is currently researching both areas with the goals of developing
pros and cons for both and six to eight mutual points of shared values.
The NMPN/PREP collectively agreed that these are going be our two main core/key issues that we will thoroughly research,
address, complete and officially release and distribute to all pertinent entities before we move on to other issues.
Please report any broken links or difficulties to website administrator.
